How to Draw a Number 8
Draw a number 8 in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the top circle.
Step 1: The top circle
In the middle, near the top, draw a big round circle for the top of the 8.
Tip Bubble numbers are fat and rounded, like balloons.
Step 2: The hole
Inside it, a little below the middle, draw a small oval for the hole.
Step 3: 2 big eyes
Above the hole, draw 2 round eyes close together. Colour a big black dot in each.
Step 4: A smile
Under the eyes draw a small U smile, from under the left eye to under the right eye.
Step 5: The bottom ring
Under it draw a slightly bigger fat ring, touching the first, with its own smaller ring inside for the hole.
Step 6: Sparkles on the left
On the left of the 8 draw 2 sparkle stars, one higher and one lower.
Step 7: Sparkles on the right
Draw 2 more sparkle stars on the right to match.
Step 8: Floor and shadow
Draw a floor line from left to right under the 8. Add a flat oval shadow on it.
Step 9: Yellow sparkles, grey shadow
Go over your lines, then colour the sparkles yellow and the shadow grey.
Step 10: Pink number 8
Colour the whole 8 pink, going round the face and leaving the eyes white. Your bubble number 8 is done!
