How to Draw Nougat
Draw nougat in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: a plate.
Step 1: A plate
Below the middle draw a long flat oval plate, nearly as wide as the paper. Add a second oval inside.
Step 2: The bar
On the plate draw a big rectangle lying across it, twice as long as it is tall.
Tip Keep the bar inside the plate rim.
Step 3: The top and end
From the top corners draw 2 short slanted lines up and join them. Slant a line down the right end.
Step 4: Almonds in front
On the front of the bar draw 4 almonds, little ovals with pointed ends, tilted different ways.
Step 5: Almonds on top
Draw 2 more almonds on the top of the bar, a little flatter.
Step 6: A cut piece
In front on the right, draw a little short bar with a slanted top and end. Add an almond.
Step 7: The table
Draw a table line under the plate from well left to well right.
Step 8: Cream nougat
Go over your lines. Colour the fronts and ends cream around the almonds, leaving the tops white.
Step 9: Brown almonds
Colour every almond brown.
Step 10: Sky plate
Colour the plate sky blue around the bar and the piece. Your nougat is done!
