How to Draw Gumdrops

10 steps · Medium · about 8 min

Draw gumdrops in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: big gumdrop.

Print

  1. Step 1: Big gumdrop

In the middle draw a fat dome: a flat bottom, sides leaning in a little, and a round top.

Tip It is like a thimble or a little hill with a flat bottom.

  2. Step 2: Left gumdrop

On the left draw a smaller dome peeking out from behind the big one, bottoms level.

  3. Step 3: Right gumdrop

Draw a matching small dome on the right, peeking out from behind the big one.

  4. Step 4: Three shines

On the upper left of each gumdrop draw a thin leaning oval for a shine.

  5. Step 5: Sugar on top

Dot 5 tiny circles over the big gumdrop for grains of sugar.

Tip Scatter them, do not line them up.

  6. Step 6: More sugar

Dot 3 sugar circles on the left gumdrop and 4 on the right one.

  7. Step 7: The table

Draw a table line along the bottoms of the gumdrops, from far left to far right.

  8. Step 8: Pink gumdrop

Go over your lines. Colour the big gumdrop pink. Leave its shine and sugar dots white.

  9. Step 9: Green gumdrop

Colour the left gumdrop green, around its shine and sugar dots.

  10. Step 10: Purple gumdrop

Colour the right gumdrop purple, around its shine and sugar dots. Your gumdrops are done!
