How to Draw a Noodle Cup
Draw a noodle cup in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the rim.
Step 1: The rim
Near the top of your paper draw a flat oval, about 3 fingers across, for the top of the cup.
Step 2: The cup
From the oval's left end draw a tall side sloping in, round the bottom, up to the right end.
Tip A noodle cup is wider at the top than the bottom.
Step 3: The lid
At the rim's top left draw a flat oval lid peeled back, leaning up and left. Add a fold line.
Step 4: Noodles
Inside the rim draw 3 fat wavy noodles, one above the other, from the left edge across to the right.
Step 5: Peas and carrot
In the rim draw three tiny rounds for peas and a little tilted square for carrot.
Step 6: A fork
On the right draw a fork in the noodles: a head with 3 prongs and a long handle leaning out.
Step 7: Bands and a wave
Round the cup draw a bowed line under the rim and another near the bottom. Add a wavy line between.
Step 8: Steam and table
Draw 2 wiggly steam lines up from the noodles. Draw a table line under the cup, out past both sides.
Step 9: Sand broth, cream lid
Go over your lines, then colour the broth sand around the noodles, peas, carrot and fork, and the lid cream.
Step 10: Yellow noodles, orange carrot
Colour the noodles yellow and the carrot orange.
Step 11: Green peas, red bands
Colour the peas green, then the top band and the bottom of the cup red. Leave the middle white.
Step 12: Grey fork
Colour the fork grey, and your noodle cup is done!
