How to Draw Cheese

10 steps · Medium · about 8 min

Draw cheese in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the wedge.

Print

  1. Step 1: The wedge

Across your paper draw a triangle lying down: a point on the left, a flat bottom, a straight right side.

Tip A long low triangle with its point on the left.

  2. Step 2: Top face

From the point and the top corner, draw 2 short lines up right. Join their ends.

Tip A thin strip along the top, tilted away from you.

  3. Step 3: Side face

From the top of the right short line, draw straight down, then slant down to the front bottom corner.

  4. Step 4: Big holes

Draw 3 round holes on the front of the cheese: a big one in the middle, 2 on the right.

  5. Step 5: More holes

Draw a small round hole near the point, and 2 tall ovals on the side face.

  6. Step 6: A board

Under the cheese draw a flat board a bit bigger than it, its sides leaning like the short lines.

  7. Step 7: Board edge

Start at the front left corner, draw a thin edge down, along and up, stop at the back right corner.

  8. Step 8: Yellow cheese

Go over your lines, then colour the front of the cheese yellow, leaving the holes white.

  9. Step 9: Ginger top and side

Colour the top and side faces ginger, a little darker than the front, leaving the 2 tall holes white.

  10. Step 10: Wood board

Colour the board wood brown. Your cheese is done!
