How to Draw a Night Light
Draw a night light in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the wall plate.
Step 1: The wall plate
In the middle of your paper draw a box with round corners, a bit taller than it is wide.
Step 2: The big star
Draw a big 5-point star over the plate, top and side points poking out. Rub out the lines inside.
Step 3: Two big eyes
In the middle of the star draw 2 big round eyes, each with a black dot and a shine.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a small U smile. Add a little oval cheek beside each end.
Step 5: Glow lines
Beside the star, well away from the plate, draw 3 short straight glow lines on each side.
Step 6: Skirting board
Start at the left edge below the plate and draw 2 long lines over to the right edge, close together.
Step 7: The floor
Lower down, start at the left edge and draw the floor line over to the right edge.
Step 8: Pale yellow glow
Colour a pale yellow circle of glow around the plate and star, inside the glow lines. Leave the plate white.
Step 9: Yellow star
Colour the star yellow, around the eyes, smile and cheeks. Leave the eyes white.
Step 10: Pink cheeks
Colour the 2 little cheeks pink.
Step 11: Brown skirting
Colour the skirting board light brown, and your night light is glowing!
