How to Draw a Mustache
Draw a mustache in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
Near the top of your paper draw a big soft egg for the head, a little narrower at the chin.
Tip Make it big: nearly two thirds of the page tall.
Step 2: Two ears
Start on the side of the head. Draw a C ear out and back to the head. Do both sides.
Step 3: Big eyes
Below the middle of the head draw 2 big tall oval eyes. Add a big black dot and a shine.
Step 4: Nose and brows
Between and below the eyes draw a tiny U nose. Add a short rainbow eyebrow above each eye.
Step 5: The moustache
Start under the nose. Sweep a fat lobe out to a thin point and curl it up. Do both sides.
Tip Fat in the middle, thin at the curled tips.
Step 6: Smile and cheeks
Under the moustache, swoop a smile from under one eye to the other. Add a cheek oval beside each end.
Step 7: Hair cap
Start above the left ear. Follow the head up into tufts, over the top and down above the right ear.
Step 8: Hairline
Start at the same left point. Draw 4 soft bumps across the forehead and stop at the right point.
Step 9: Neck and shirt
Under the chin draw 2 short neck lines. Slope a shoulder out from each one. Add a little U collar.
Step 10: Pink cheeks, peach skin
Colour the cheeks pink, then the face, ears and neck peach around the cheeks and moustache. Leave the eyes white.
Step 11: Red shirt
Colour the shirt red.
Step 12: Black moustache and hair
Colour the moustache and the hair black. Go over your lines and your moustache face is done.

Your finished drawing
