How to Draw a Cashier

13 steps · Medium · about 10 min

Draw a cashier in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.

Print

  1. Step 1: The head

Near the top, in the middle, draw an egg for the head, a little narrower at the chin.

Tip Leave the bottom third of the page for the counter.

  2. Step 2: The face

Below the middle of the head draw 2 round eyes with black dots, a tiny nose, a smile and eyebrows.

  3. Step 3: Hair and fringe

From the left of the head draw the hair up over the top to the right. Add a curved fringe.

  4. Step 4: Bob

From the hair by each temple, draw the bob straight down beside the cheek and round it at the jaw.

  5. Step 5: Neck and T-shirt

Draw 2 neck lines under the chin. From the left one draw a T-shirt with sleeves, ending at the right.

  6. Step 6: Apron and name tag

On the shirt draw an apron from the chest down behind the counter. Add a small name tag box.

  7. Step 7: Arms

From the left sleeve draw an arm down to the apron's bottom. Bend the right arm across to the apron.

  8. Step 8: Hand and receipt

Draw a mitten on the right wrist. From its top draw a tall receipt up and back down to it.

  9. Step 9: Counter and ground

Below the apron draw a wide counter across the page, with a line under its top. Add a ground line.

  10. Step 10: Cash register

On the left of the counter draw a box with a slanted front and a small screen. Add key dots.

  11. Step 11: Peach skin, pink cheeks

Colour the cheeks pink, then the face, neck, arms and hand peach around them. Keep the eyes white.

  12. Step 12: Green apron, white shirt

Colour the apron green around the arm, leaving the name tag and receipt white. Leave the shirt white.

  13. Step 13: Brown counter, grey register

Colour the counter and hair brown. Colour the register grey around the black keys, leaving its screen white.
