How to Draw Medusa
Draw Medusa in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: head and ears.
Step 1: Head and ears
Near the top, draw a big soft egg head. On each side, start a C ear, back to the head.
Step 2: Big eyes
Below the middle of the head, draw 2 big tall oval eyes, one eye apart, with black dots and shines.
Step 3: Nose and smile
Between the eyes, draw a tiny U nose. Under it, draw a wide smile.
Step 4: Hairline
Start by the left ear, draw 2 curves meeting in a point mid-forehead, and stop by the right ear.
Step 5: Two top snakes
From the top of the head, draw 2 snakes curling out, thin at the neck, with an oval head.
Step 6: Two side snakes
From each side of the head, above the ears, draw a snake curling up and out, with an oval head.
Step 7: Two hanging snakes
From the hair edge on each side, draw a snake hanging down past the ear to an oval head.
Step 8: Snake eyes
On every snake head, near the nose end, draw a black dot eye.
Step 9: Forked tongues
From the nose of each top and side snake, flick a short tongue ending in a V.
Step 10: Neck and toga
Under the chin, draw 2 short neck lines, a U neckline, and the toga shoulders sloping out.
Step 11: Peach skin, pink cheeks
Colour the face, ears and neck peach, with a soft pink circle on each cheek. Keep the eyes white.
Step 12: Sandy toga
Colour the toga sandy cream.
Step 13: Leaf green hair
Colour the snakes and the hair above the hairline leaf green, around the black eye dots.
