How to Draw a Disgusted Face

Step 1: Big egg head

Near the top of your paper draw a big soft egg head. Make the chin a bit narrower.

Tip Make it big, about two thirds of the page tall.

Step 2: Two ears

Start on the side of the head below the middle. Draw a C ear, stop on the head. Do both.

Step 3: Squinting eyes

In the middle of the face draw 2 half-closed eyes: a straight lid on top, a round bowl underneath.

Tip Each lid slants down a little toward the nose.

Step 4: Dots in the eyes

Colour a big black dot in each eye, tucked under the lid. Leave a tiny white shine in it.

Step 5: Low eyebrows

Above each eye draw an eyebrow that slants down toward the nose. Keep a small gap above the eye.

Step 6: Scrunched nose

Under the eyes draw a tiny U nose. Between the eyes add 2 short curved wrinkle lines.

Tip The wrinkles show the nose is scrunched up.

Step 7: Yucky open mouth

Lower down draw a rainbow arch for the top lip. Join its ends with a flatter curve underneath.

Tip The corners of the mouth point down.

Step 8: Tongue out

From inside the mouth draw a U tongue hanging over the bottom lip. Add a short line down its middle.

Tip Sticking the tongue out says yuck.

Step 9: Hair cap

Start on the head above the left ear. Draw 7 soft bumps over the top, stop above the right ear.

Tip Soft bumps like little clouds, not spikes.

Step 10: Hairline

Start at the same left point. Curve across the forehead above the eyebrows and stop at the right point.

Step 11: Neck and shirt

Under the chin draw 2 short neck lines. Draw a shoulder sloping down from each. Add a U collar.

Step 12: Peach skin

Colour the face, ears and neck peach. Leave the eyes, the mouth and the tongue white.

Tip The hair stays white for now too.

Step 13: Pink tongue, yellow shirt

Colour the tongue pink and the shirt yellow.

Step 14: Brown hair

Colour the hair brown and inside the mouth red. Go over your lines and your disgusted face is done.
