How to Draw a Milkshake
Draw a milkshake in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the glass.
Step 1: The glass
Start on the left, near the middle. Draw a tall glass down, across, and up to the right.
Step 2: Whipped cream
From the left, draw 6 round drips over the glass. Add a C up from each end. Join the tops.
Step 3: Second swirl
Start at the left end of the top line. Draw a smaller fat C up. Do the right too.
Step 4: Round top
Start at the top of the left C. Draw a plump round hill over, down to the right C.
Step 5: Cherry and straw
Draw a cherry on top with a stem and leaf. Add a straw of 2 lines leaning out, with 2 stripes.
Step 6: Drips on the glass
Under the cream, draw 2 drips. Start on the wavy lip, go down and round, back up to the lip.
Step 7: Foot and ground
Under the glass, draw a flat oval foot and a ground line. Add a thin shine line down the left.
Step 8: Pink shake
Colour the glass pink. Leave the cream and the drips white.
Step 9: Red cherry, green leaf
Colour the cherry red, leaving a little shine, and the leaf green. Leave the cream white.
Step 10: Red straw, grey foot
Colour the straw red between its stripes, and the foot grey.
