How to Draw a Cookie
Draw a cookie in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the cookie.
Step 1: The cookie
Start at 2 o'clock. Draw a big round above the middle, all the way round, and stop at 12 o'clock.
Tip A little lumpy is good. The gap is for the bite.
Step 2: The bite
Start at the top of the gap. Draw 2 round bites with a point between, stopping at the bottom.
Step 3: Big chocolate chips
Draw 4 squashed ovals for big chips, spread out: 2 up high and 1 on each side lower down.
Tip Tilt them different ways, never touching the edge.
Step 4: Small chips
Draw 4 smaller chips in the gaps: middle, lower left, right, and near the bottom.
Step 5: The shine
Draw a thin slanted oval near the top left edge of the cookie for a shine.
Step 6: A plate
Start on the cookie's left side. Draw a flat oval plate round its bottom, stopping on the right side.
Tip The back of the plate hides behind the cookie.
Step 7: Crumbs
Draw 2 tiny crumbs on the flat of the plate, to the right of the cookie.
Step 8: Tan cookie
Go over your lines, then colour the cookie tan, going round the chips and the shine.
Step 9: Sky plate
Colour the plate sky blue, going round the cookie and the crumbs.
Step 10: Brown chips
Colour all 8 chips and the 2 crumbs brown.

Your finished drawing
Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: a cookie, drawn by you.
