How to Draw Milk

10 steps · Medium · about 8 min

Draw milk in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the front.

Print

  1. Step 1: The front

A little left of the middle, draw a tall rectangle, taller than it is wide.

    Tip Tall like a door.

  2. Step 2: The roof

From the top left corner, draw a line slanting up to a peak, and down to the top right corner.

Tip A pointed roof, like a little house.

  3. Step 3: The side

From the top right corner, draw a short slant up right, straight down, then slant back to the bottom corner.

Tip The side leans away so the carton looks solid.

  4. Step 4: Roof side

From the roof's peak, draw a line slanting up to the right, then down to the top of the side.

  5. Step 5: The spout

On top of the roof, draw a thin slanted strip sitting along the peak.

Tip A tiny ledge along the top, where the carton opens.

  6. Step 6: Two bands

Draw a line straight across the front near the top and another near the bottom, side to side.

  7. Step 7: Milk badge

In the middle of the front, draw a round badge. Inside, draw a wavy line across and a teardrop above.

  8. Step 8: Ground and shadow

Draw a long ground line under the carton. Add a thin flat oval under it for its shadow.

  9. Step 9: Sky blue roof

Go over your lines. Colour the 2 bands, the roof, the spout and the badge below the wave sky blue.

  10. Step 10: Blue side, grey shadow

Colour the side blue and the shadow grey.
