How to Draw a Cannoli

11 steps · Medium · about 8 min

Draw a cannoli in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: a plate.

Print

  1. Step 1: A plate

In the middle of your paper draw a big flat oval plate, wider than your hand.

  2. Step 2: The shell

Across the plate draw a long tube with a thin middle and wide, slanted ends.

Tip A cannoli is a crisp rolled-up pastry tube.

  3. Step 3: Cream on the left

Start at the top tip of the left end. Draw a fluffy bumpy cream cloud round to the bottom tip.

  4. Step 4: Cream on the right

Draw the same fluffy cream cloud out of the right end, from tip to tip.

  5. Step 5: Chocolate chips

Dot 4 tiny chips on each puff of cream, scattered about, not in a line.

  6. Step 6: Ridges

Across the shell draw 3 slanted curves, spread out, from the top edge to the bottom edge.

  7. Step 7: A shadow

Under the cannoli draw a long thin flat oval on the plate for its shadow.

  8. Step 8: The table

Draw a line under the plate from far left to far right, just touching its bottom.

  9. Step 9: Tan shell

    Colour the shell tan.

  10. Step 10: Sky plate, grey shadow

Colour the plate sky blue and the shadow grey.

  11. Step 11: Brown chips

Leave the cream white. Colour the chips brown. Your cannoli is done!
