How to Draw Cherries
Draw cherries in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the front cherry.
Step 1: The front cherry
Below the middle draw a big round cherry, as big as a plum, with a tiny dip on top.
Tip Round like a ball but a little lumpy.
Step 2: Left cherry
To the left draw a smaller cherry tucked behind, just as low. Start and stop where it meets the first.
Step 3: Right cherry
Do the same on the right: a smaller cherry tucked behind, starting and stopping where it meets the front one.
Step 4: Three stems
From each dip draw a curved stem up, getting thinner. All 3 meet at one point.
Step 5: The knob
Where the stems meet draw a small round knob.
Step 6: Two leaves
From the knob draw a fat leaf pointing up right, and another pointing up left. Give each a middle line.
Step 7: Shines
In the top left of each cherry draw a thin oval sliver for a shine.
Step 8: The ground
Start well left and draw a ground line just under the 3 cherries, out to well right.
Step 9: Red cherries
Go over your lines, then colour all 3 cherries red, leaving the shines white.
Step 10: Green leaves
Colour both leaves green.
Step 11: Brown stems
Colour the 3 stems and the knob brown.
