How to Draw Mayo

12 steps · Medium · about 9 min

Draw mayo in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the lid.

Print

  1. Step 1: The lid

Near the top draw a flat lid: a wide box with soft top corners, as wide as your hand.

  2. Step 2: The jar

Under the lid draw a fat jar with short shoulders, straight sides and a round bottom, wider than the lid.

  3. Step 3: Lid line

Draw a line across the lid, a little above its bottom, for the lid's edge.

  4. Step 4: A label

On the front of the jar draw a big oval label, almost as wide as the jar.

  5. Step 5: An egg

On the left half of the label draw a small tilted egg shape, well inside the oval.

  6. Step 6: Tiny spoon

On the right half of the label draw a tiny spoon standing up, with a little oval bowl on top.

  7. Step 7: Jar neck

Just under the lid, draw a gently curved line from shoulder to shoulder for the jar's neck.

  8. Step 8: Table line

Draw a long straight table line under the jar, sticking out past both sides.

  9. Step 9: Another egg

On the table to the right of the jar, draw another egg, bigger than the label egg.

  10. Step 10: Cream mayo

Go over your lines, then colour the jar cream. Leave a thin shine, the label and the table egg white.

  11. Step 11: Yellow egg

Colour the little egg on the label yellow.

  12. Step 12: Blue lid

Colour the lid blue, and your mayo is done!
