How to Draw a Mask
Draw a mask in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: top of the mask.
Step 1: Top of the mask
Across the middle, start on the left and draw 2 wide hills with a dip between. Stop on the right.
Step 2: Bottom of the mask
From the right end draw 2 big U curves with a dip between. Stop back at the left end.
Tip Together the 2 lines make a wide sideways 8.
Step 3: Two eye holes
In each side of the mask draw a tilted almond for an eye hole. Leave a thick band all round.
Step 4: Two big eyes
Inside each eye hole draw a big egg eye, peeking through. Leave the eyes white.
Step 5: Pupils and shines
Colour a big black dot in each eye. Leave 2 tiny white shines in each dot.
Step 6: Ribbon ties
From each outside tip draw 2 lines side by side, trailing out and down. Stop below the mask.
Step 7: V-cut ends
To close each tie, start at one line, draw a V pointing up and stop at the other line.
Step 8: Sparkles
Draw 3 little 4-point sparkles above the mask, one over each side and a small one in the middle.
Step 9: Yellow sparkles
Colour the 3 sparkles yellow.
Step 10: Purple mask and ties
Go over your lines. Colour the mask and both ties purple. Leave the eye holes and eyes white.

Your finished drawing
