How to Draw Headphones
Draw headphones in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the headband.
Step 1: The headband
Start on the left, above the middle. Draw a big rainbow over, stop on the right. Add one inside.
Tip Make the band chunky, about a thumb thick.
Step 2: Two little clips
Under each end of the band draw a clip: start on the band, go down, back up to the band.
Step 3: Two ear cups
Start at the bottom left corner of each clip. Draw a big rounded square hanging down, finish at the clip.
Step 4: Soft pads
Inside each ear cup draw a smaller rounded square, leaving a rim. Add a curved shine on the right pad.
Step 5: Big eyes
On the left ear cup only, in the top of the pad, draw 2 big tall oval eyes.
Tip Only the left cup gets a face; the right stays plain.
Step 6: Smile
Start under the left eye. Swing a soft U smile down, stop under the right eye.
Step 7: Rosy cheeks
On the left pad draw an oval cheek past each end of the smile.
Step 8: Music note
To the right of the band draw a music note: a black oval, a line up, and a flag.
Step 9: Curly cord
Under the middle of the left ear cup draw a tiny stub. From it write 3 e's going right. Stop.
Step 10: The plug
From the last e draw a lazy line dipping down, stop under the right ear cup. Add a fat grip.
Step 11: Pink cheeks, blue pads
Colour the cheeks pink. Colour both pads light blue, around the eyes and cheeks. Leave the eyes white.
Step 12: Pink rims, purple band
Colour the cup rims pink, around the pads. Colour the band, clips, stub and grip purple.
