How to Draw a Lazy Susan
Draw a lazy Susan in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the big bowl.
Step 1: The big bowl
A little left of the middle draw a big bowl: a flat top line with a round curve under it.
Step 2: Two big eyes
On the bowl draw 2 big egg eyes side by side. Colour a big black dot in each.
Step 3: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a wide U smile, and a small flat oval cheek beside each eye.
Step 4: The tray
Round the bottom of the bowl draw a big flat oval tray.
Step 5: Tray edge
From each end of the tray draw a short line down. Join their ends with a curve under the front.
Step 6: The pedestal
Under the tray draw a short wide foot: a box narrow at the top and wide at the bottom.
Step 7: The small bowl
On the right of the tray draw a smaller bowl the same way.
Step 8: Plate of dumplings
On the left of the tray draw a small flat oval plate with 2 round dumplings, like little buns.
Step 9: Table line
Start near the left edge and draw a straight table line under the pedestal, stopping near the right edge.
Step 10: Sparkles
Draw 3 little 4-point sparkles above the bowls to make it shine.
Step 11: Pink cheeks, yellow sparkles
Go over your lines. Leave the plate and dumplings white. Colour the cheeks pink and the sparkles yellow.
Step 12: Wood tray
Colour the tray and the pedestal wood brown, around the plate and the bowls.
Step 13: Red and blue bowls
Colour the big bowl red around the eyes and cheeks. Leave the eyes white. Colour the small bowl blue.
