How to Draw Baking Cookies
Draw baking cookies in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: head and ears.
Step 1: Head and ears
Near the top draw an egg head. Add a C ear on each side, from the head back to it.
Tip Leave room below for the apron and a counter.
Step 2: Face
Draw 2 eyes with a dot and a shine, a small nose and a smile.
Step 3: Tufty hair
Start on the left side by the eyebrows. Draw soft round tufts over the top, stopping on the right side.
Step 4: Neck and T-shirt
Draw 2 short neck lines under the chin. From the left one draw a T-shirt round to the right one.
Step 5: Apron
On the T-shirt draw an apron, wider at the waist, with a strap from each top corner to the neck.
Step 6: Arms and fists
From each sleeve draw an arm bending out at the elbow, then in to a round fist.
Step 7: Counter
In front of the kid draw a long flat counter. Draw a line from each end down to the ground.
Tip The counter hides the legs, so there are none to draw.
Step 8: Dough and cutter
Under the left fist draw a star cutter. Behind it draw a big mound of dough on the counter.
Step 9: Tray of cookies
Under the right fist draw a tray on the counter, with a star, a round and a small star cookie.
Step 10: Tan dough, cream counter
Go over your lines. Colour the dough and cookies tan, leaving the cutter white, and the counter cream.
Step 11: Peach skin, pink cheeks
Colour the face, neck, ears, arms and fists peach, with a pink circle on each cheek.
Tip Keep the eyes white.
Step 12: Blue T-shirt, white apron
Colour the T-shirt blue around the arms, and leave the apron white.
Step 13: Grey tray, brown hair
Colour the tray grey around the cookies, and the hair brown.
