How to Draw a Love Monster
Draw a love monster in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: heart body.
Step 1: Heart body
In the middle, draw 1 big heart for the whole monster, with 2 round bumps and a point below.
Tip Make the heart big and round, nearly as wide as the page.
Step 2: Two big eyes
In the top half of the heart, draw 2 big round eyes, an eye apart, with black dots and shines.
Step 3: Nose, smile, cheeks
Under the eyes, draw a small round black nose and a U smile. Add an oval cheek on each side.
Step 4: Happy brows
Over each eye, draw a short curved eyebrow, a little gap above, like a happy arch.
Step 5: Heart antennae
On each top bump, start on the body. Draw a short curved stalk up and stop at a tiny heart.
Step 6: Arms held out
From each side of the heart, draw 2 lines out and down. Stop close together at the wrist.
Step 7: Mitten hands
Start on the top arm line, draw a round mitten with a thumb bump, stop on the bottom line.
Step 8: Feet and ground
On each side of the point, draw a round foot with 3 toe bumps. Draw the ground under them.
Step 9: Soft fur tufts
Outside each top bump, start on the heart line, draw 3 round fur bumps and stop on the line.
Step 10: Pink monster
Go over your lines. Colour the heart, arms, mittens, feet and tufts pink, around the cheeks. Leave the eyes white.
Step 11: Red hearts and cheeks
Colour the tiny hearts and the cheeks red. Your love monster is done!
