How to Draw Little Miss Muffet

Draw Little Miss Muffet in 13 steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.

Step 1: The head
Near the top, in the middle, draw an egg for the head, a little narrower at the chin.
Tip Leave the lower half of the page for the legs and tuffet.
Step 2: The face
Below the middle of the head draw 2 eyes with black dots. Add a tiny nose, a smile and eyebrows.
Step 3: Hair and pigtails
Draw hair over the top of the head with a curved fringe. Add a fat round pigtail on each side.
Step 4: Neck and dress top
Add 2 neck lines under the chin. Draw a dress top with sleeves from one line over to the other.
Step 5: Arms bent in front
Draw each arm from the sleeve down the side of the dress, then bend it in across the tummy.
Step 6: Skirt over the knees
Under the dress draw one wide rounded shape for the 2 knees, with a little dip in the middle.
Step 7: Bowl, spoon and hands
Draw an oval rim between the wrists and a U from end to end. Add a spoon and 2 mittens.
Step 8: Legs and shoes
Start under each knee. Draw 2 leg lines down, narrower at the ankle, and stop near the bottom. Add shoes.
Step 9: Tuffet and ground
Start left of the legs. Draw a mound behind the knees and stop on the right. Add a ground line.
Step 10: The spider
Draw a thread on the right. Add a small head with 2 eyes, a big body and 8 bent legs.
Step 11: Peach skin, pink cheeks
Colour the face, arms, hands and legs peach. Add a pink circle on each cheek. Leave the eyes white.
Step 12: Yellow dress, green tuffet
Colour the dress yellow and the tuffet green, around the arms and legs. Leave the bowl and spoon white.
Step 13: Purple spider, brown hair
Colour the spider purple, leaving its eyes white. Colour the hair, pigtails and shoes brown. Little Miss Muffet is done!
