How to Draw an Aquarium Tunnel

15 steps · Tricky · about 11 min

Draw an aquarium tunnel in 15 steps, about 11 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: egg head.

Print

  1. Step 1: Egg head

Near the top of your paper draw an egg for the head, a little narrower at the chin.

Tip Draw it a bit small: the kid stands inside a big glass tunnel.

  2. Step 2: The face

Below the middle of the head draw 2 oval eyes with a black dot each. Add a smile.

  3. Step 3: Hair and fringe

Start on the left of the head above the eyes. Draw hair over the top, then a curved fringe back.

  4. Step 4: Neck and T-shirt

Draw 2 short neck lines. From the left one draw a T-shirt round to the right one.

  5. Step 5: Arms and hands

From each sleeve draw an arm down to a mitten hand at the side.

  6. Step 6: Trousers

Start at the left of the hem. Draw 2 trouser legs down and back up, stopping at the right end.

  7. Step 7: Sneakers and ground

Under each trouser leg draw a sneaker. Draw a ground line under them, almost from edge to edge.

  8. Step 8: Glass tunnel

Start on the ground. Draw a big arch over the kid, down to the ground. Add a bigger arch.

Tip The glass is the thick band between the 2 arches.

  9. Step 9: The shark

High above the tunnel draw a shark swimming left: a torpedo body, a tall back fin, a crescent tail.

  10. Step 10: Fish and bubbles

In the water each side of the tunnel draw 2 little fish with triangle tails. Add 3 bubbles.

  11. Step 11: Peach skin

Go over your lines. Colour the face, neck, arms and hands peach, with pink cheeks. Leave the eyes white.

  12. Step 12: Pale blue glass

Colour the glass band and the inside of the tunnel pale blue, going round the kid.

  13. Step 13: Grey shark and floor

Colour the shark, the trousers and the floor under the ground line grey.

  14. Step 14: Orange fish, red T-shirt

Colour the fish orange and the T-shirt red.

  15. Step 15: Blue sea, brown hair

Colour the sea blue, around the tunnel, the shark and the fish. Colour the hair brown. You are done!
