How to Draw Little Bo Peep

Step 1: The head

Near the top, a little right of the middle, draw an egg head, narrower at the chin.

Tip Leave room on the left for a lamb and the right for the crook.

Step 2: The face

Below the middle, draw 2 round eyes with a tiny lash each. Add a nose, a smile and 2 eyebrows.

Step 3: The bonnet

Draw a big rainbow band over the head, cheek to cheek, well outside it. Add a bow on the left.

Step 4: Curly hair

From one side of the forehead, draw a bumpy fringe to the other. Add 2 curls under each bonnet end.

Step 5: Neck and dress

Draw 2 short neck lines. From the left one, draw a wide dress with short sleeves, ending at the right.

Step 6: Pinafore

On the front of the dress, draw a pinafore from the waist down and out to the hem.

Step 7: Arms and hands

From the left sleeve, draw an arm down to a mitten. From the right, a bent arm to a fist.

Step 8: The crook

Start low on the paper, under her fist. Draw a thick stick up through it to a big hook.

Step 9: Little lamb

On the left, draw a lamb: a fluffy cloud body and a round head with a woolly cap and ears.

Step 10: Lamb's face

On the lamb's head, draw 2 round eyes with black dots and a small smile under them.

Step 11: Lamb legs

Under the lamb, draw 4 short legs that get thinner, each ending in a small round hoof.

Step 12: Legs and shoes

Start on the hem. Draw 2 lines down for each leg, stopping above the crook's end. Add 2 shoes.

Step 13: The ground

Start left of the lamb and draw a straight ground line under the hooves and shoes, past the crook.

Step 14: Yellow hair, sky bonnet

Colour the hair yellow. Colour the bonnet and dress sky blue, leaving the pinafore white.

Step 15: Pink pinafore, peach skin

Colour the cheeks, bow and pinafore pink. Colour her skin peach around the cheeks. Leave the eyes white.

Step 16: Brown crook, cream lamb

Colour the crook, shoes and hooves brown, and the lamb's face and ears cream. Leave its woolly body white.
