How to Draw a Lemon Pie
Draw a lemon pie in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: a plate.
Step 1: A plate
Across the lower middle of your paper draw a big oval plate, with a smaller oval inside for the rim.
Step 2: Meringue top
From a point on the left draw a long triangle, 2 sides bumpy, right side bowed, back to the point.
Tip The soft round bumps are the fluffy meringue.
Step 3: The cut side
From the point draw a line down, a long line along the plate, then up to the front corner.
Step 4: Bumpy crust
Along the bowed side draw a fat crust of round bumps, from the front corner to the back corner.
Step 5: Filling line
Under the meringue, draw a line across the cut side from the left end to the right end.
Step 6: Crust line
Near the bottom, draw another line across the cut side from the left end to the right end.
Step 7: Lemon slice
On the plate in front, draw a big flat oval lemon slice, a ring inside, then 3 crossing lines.
Step 8: The table
Draw a table line under the plate from well left to well right, just touching its bottom.
Step 9: Yellow filling
Go over your lines. Colour the middle strip and the lemon slice yellow. Leave the meringue white.
Step 10: Tan crust
Colour the bumpy crust and the bottom strip tan.
Step 11: Sky plate
Colour the plate sky blue, going around the slice and the lemon. Your lemon pie is done!
