How to Draw Lasagna
Draw lasagna in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: front of the slice.
Step 1: Front of the slice
In the middle of your paper draw a wide box lying down.
Tip This is the cut side where you see the layers.
Step 2: The top
Start at the top-left corner. Slant up, go across, and slant down to the top-right corner.
Step 3: The back edge
Start at the back right corner. Draw a line straight down, then a short slant down to the bottom-right corner.
Step 4: Wavy layers
Across the front draw 4 wavy lines from the left side to the right side, one under the other.
Tip Pasta, sauce, pasta, sauce.
Step 5: Layers round the edge
Carry each layer round the back edge with a short slanted line, from the front corner to the back edge.
Step 6: Melted cheese
Draw melted cheese over most of the top, with 3 drips down the front. Rub out the edge inside.
Step 7: A plate
From the left side of the slice, draw a big oval plate round the bottom, ending on the back edge.
Step 8: Steam
Above the slice draw 3 wiggly steam lines going up, each like a long S.
Step 9: Yellow cheese, sky plate
Go over your lines, then colour the cheese and its drips yellow and the plate sky blue.
Step 10: Tan pasta, ginger top
Colour the top, middle and bottom stripes tan, around the drips. Colour the crust around the cheese ginger.
Step 11: Red sauce
Colour the other 2 stripes red, on the front and the side. Your lasagna is done!
