How to Draw a Laminator
Draw a laminator in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the machine.
Step 1: The machine
Across the middle draw a long low box with soft corners, wider than a ruler, sitting on the table.
Step 2: Two big eyes
On the left part of the front draw 2 big egg eyes. Colour a big black dot in each.
Step 3: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a wide U smile, and a flat oval cheek beside each eye.
Step 4: The slot
Low on the front, on the right, draw a long thin box for the slot.
Step 5: The sheet
From the slot draw a flat sheet sliding out along the table, past the machine's right side.
Step 6: Shine dashes
On the sheet draw 2 slanted dashes for the glossy shine.
Step 7: Lid and lights
Near the top draw a lid line from side to side. Under its right end draw 2 tiny lights.
Step 8: Table line
Start near the left edge and draw a straight table line under the machine, stopping near the right edge.
Step 9: Sparkles
Draw 3 little 4-point sparkles in the air around it to make it shine.
Step 10: Pink cheeks, yellow sparkles
Colour the cheeks pink and the sparkles yellow.
Step 11: Sky sheet, green lights
Colour the sheet a very light sky blue and the 2 lights green.
Step 12: Slate machine
Go over your lines. Colour the machine slate grey around the face, lights and sheet, and the slot black.
Tip Leave the eyes white.
