How to Draw a Certificate
Draw a certificate in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the sheet.
Step 1: The sheet
In the middle, draw a wide rectangle, wider than it is tall, like a page on its side.
Step 2: The border
Inside it, draw a second rectangle a finger in, all the way round, and a third one just inside that.
Step 3: Two big eyes
In the top half of the certificate, draw 2 big round eyes with a black dot and white shine.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Draw a wide U smile under the eyes. Add a small flat oval cheek beside each end.
Step 5: The title
Above the eyes, draw a short fat bar across the middle, like a strip of big fancy writing.
Step 6: Writing lines
Under the smile on the left, draw 3 straight lines across, one under the other, the bottom one shorter.
Step 7: The seal
Bottom right, draw a round seal: a circle with a smaller circle inside. Add 2 notched ribbon tails hanging down.
Tip The ribbon tails tuck behind the round seal.
Step 8: Three sparkles
Draw 3 sparkle stars round the outside, one at each top corner and one at the bottom right.
Step 9: Cream paper
Colour the whole sheet cream, right out to the edge, going around the eyes, cheeks, title bar and seal.
Tip Keep the eyes white.
Step 10: Yellow and pink
Colour the title bar and the 3 sparkles gold yellow. Colour the cheeks pink.
Step 11: Red seal
Colour the seal and its ribbons red, leaving the little middle circle white.

Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: a certificate, drawn by you.
