How to Draw a Lacrosse Goal
Draw a lacrosse goal in 14 easy steps, about 11 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: square frame.
Step 1: Square frame
Start low on the left. Draw a big square with no bottom: up, across, and stop low on the right.
Tip Make it as wide as it is tall. A lacrosse goal has a square front.
Step 2: The pipe
Start at the foot of the right side. Draw a smaller square just inside and stop at the left foot.
Step 3: The ground
Start near the left edge. Draw a straight ground line under both posts to the right edge.
Step 4: Back point
Start at the right foot. Draw a line to a point low on the right, then back to the left.
Tip The base is a V lying on the ground. The far line hides behind the right post.
Step 5: Thick base
Start at the left foot. Draw a smaller V inside the first and stop on the right post.
Step 6: Net edges
Start at each top corner. Draw a line aiming at the point. Stop the left one at the right post.
Step 7: The ball
On the ground line inside the goal draw a small round ball.
Step 8: Net to the point
Draw 6 thin lines from the posts and the top bar, all aiming at the back point.
Step 9: Net across
Cross them with thin lines going straight up and straight across, like squares getting smaller.
Step 10: The stick
Left of the goal draw a long thin stick leaning on the post, with a rounded scoop on top.
Step 11: Stick pocket
Inside the scoop draw a smaller scoop shape. Fill it with criss-cross lines.
Step 12: Yellow ball
Colour the ball yellow.
Step 13: Orange goal
Colour the square frame and the V base orange. Leave the net white.
Step 14: Blue stick
Colour the stick blue, around the pocket. Go over your lines.
