How to Draw the Kremlin
Draw the Kremlin in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: long red wall.
Step 1: Long red wall
Low down draw a long wall with 9 square teeth along the top, like a castle wall.
Tip Draw the teeth slowly, all the same size.
Step 2: Clock tower
In the middle of the wall draw a tall box standing on the ground and rising high above the teeth.
Step 3: Ledge and tent roof
On the tower draw a flat ledge poking out both sides, then a tall pointed tent roof on the ledge.
Step 4: Red star
On the very tip of the tent roof draw a 5-pointed star.
Step 5: The clock
Near the top of the tower draw a big round clock with 2 hands, one pointing up, one pointing right.
Step 6: 2 corner towers
At each wall end draw a shorter tower, just above the teeth, with a cone roof and a tiny ball.
Step 7: Onion domes
Behind the wall draw 2 onion domes: start on the wall, bulge out, pinch to a point, stop on it.
Step 8: Gate and windows
Draw an arched gate, 2 windows under the clock, 1 in each corner tower and 1 in each wall.
Step 9: The ground
Draw the ground line from each corner tower out to the paper's edge, with 2 grass blades each side.
Step 10: Golden domes
Go over your lines, then colour the domes, balls and clock yellow and the gate brown.
Step 11: Green roofs
Colour the tent roof, the ledge and the 2 cone roofs green.
Step 12: Red bricks
Colour the star, wall and towers brick red, around the clock, gate and windows. Your Kremlin is done!
