How to Draw a Knight Face
Draw a knight face in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: big egg head.
Step 1: Big egg head
In the upper middle of your paper draw a big egg head, a little narrower at the chin.
Tip Leave room above for the helmet and its plume.
Step 2: Big eyes
Below the middle of the head draw 2 big oval eyes. Colour a big black dot in each.
Step 3: Nose and smile
Between the eyes draw a tiny U nose. Under it draw a wide smile from eye to eye.
Step 4: Helmet
Start on the left of the head by the eyebrows. Draw a dome over the head, down to the right.
Step 5: Raised visor
On the front of the dome draw a curved band that bows up over the forehead.
Step 6: Cheek guards
From each dome corner draw a straight guard down beside the face, square at the jaw. Add a bolt dot.
Tip Rub out the dome's corner lines inside the guards.
Step 7: Plume
From the top of the helmet draw a long curved plume sweeping left to a point, back to the helmet.
Step 8: Neck and tunic
Under the chin draw 2 short neck lines. From each draw a shoulder sloping down to the edge.
Step 9: Cross
Under the collar draw the outline of a fat cross, with 4 short thick arms.
Step 10: Peach face, pink cheeks
Colour the face and neck peach, with pink cheeks. Leave the eyes white.
Step 11: Grey helmet
Colour the helmet, the visor and the cheek guards grey, around the face.
Step 12: Red plume, blue tunic
Colour the plume and the cross red, then the tunic blue around the cross. Go over your lines.
