How to Draw a Kneeling
Draw a kneeling in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
Near the top of your paper draw an egg for the head, a little narrower at the chin.
Step 2: The face
Just below the middle of the head draw 2 oval eyes with black dots. Add a nose, smile and eyebrows.
Step 3: Soft hair cap
Start by the left eyebrow. Draw soft bumps over the head, down to the right eyebrow. Add a hairline across.
Tip Round bumps like little clouds, not spikes.
Step 4: Neck and T-shirt
Draw a short neck under the chin. From it draw a T-shirt with short sleeves, down to a flat hem.
Step 5: Arms and hands
Draw a long arm down from the left sleeve and a shorter arm out from the right. Add mitten hands.
Step 6: Kneeling leg
From the left of the hem, draw a leg straight down to a round knee, then back along the ground.
Tip One knee down, one knee up: that is kneeling.
Step 7: Raised knee
From the hem, draw a fat thigh out to a round knee under the hand, then the shin down.
Step 8: Shoes and ground
Draw a shoe under the shin and a shoe on its toe behind the back leg. Add a ground line.
Step 9: Red shirt, blue trousers
Colour the T-shirt red. Colour the trousers blue, around the hand on the knee.
Step 10: Peach skin, pink cheeks
Colour the face, neck, arms and hands peach, with pink cheeks. Leave the eyes white.
Step 11: Brown hair and shoes
Colour the hair and both shoes brown. Go over your lines and your kneeling kid is done!
