How to Draw a King Face
Draw a king face in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
Near the top of your paper draw a big egg for the head, a little narrower at the chin.
Tip Make it big, two thirds of the page. Leave room for crown and beard.
Step 2: Big eyes
Below the middle draw 2 big oval eyes. Colour a big black dot in each, leaving a shine.
Step 3: Nose and smile
Between the eyes draw a round nose. Under it draw a wide smile from eye to eye. Add 2 eyebrows.
Step 4: Moustache
Under the nose draw a bushy moustache: 2 fat lobes dipping in the middle. The smile peeks out below.
Step 5: Beard
Start on the left cheek. Draw a big U beard under the chin and back up to the right cheek.
Step 6: Crown
Above the eyes, start on the left of the head. Zigzag big crown points across, stopping on the right.
Step 7: Balls on the points
Put a tiny ball on each point of the crown.
Step 8: The robe
Start under the beard on the left. Slope a shoulder out, go down, across and back up to the beard.
Step 9: Brooch
Under the beard draw a round brooch: a circle with a smaller circle inside it.
Step 10: Peach face, pink cheeks
Colour the face peach, and the head between the crown points. Colour the nose and cheeks pink.
Tip Leave the eyes, moustache and beard white.
Step 11: Yellow crown
Colour the crown, its 4 balls and the brooch yellow.
Step 12: Purple robe
Colour the robe purple, around the beard and the brooch. Go over your lines and your king is done.
