How to Draw Kimbap
Draw kimbap in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: a plate.
Step 1: A plate
In the middle of the page draw a big flat oval plate, as wide as your hand.
Step 2: The rim
Draw a second oval a finger inside the plate, for the rim.
Step 3: Two slices
On the plate draw 2 round slices, a big one on the left and one right of the middle.
Tip Kimbap is a seaweed rice roll cut into round slices.
Step 4: Two more behind
Between them draw a smaller slice tucked behind both. At the right end draw a small one tucked behind.
Step 5: Rice rings
Inside each slice draw a smaller round a little way in, for the white rice.
Step 6: Egg and spinach
In each slice draw a tiny square for egg and a short fat strip for spinach across the middle.
Step 7: Carrot
On the other side of each strip draw a tiny round for carrot.
Step 8: Chopsticks
Under the slices draw 2 long chopsticks, thinner at the tips. Start under the left slice, stop under the right.
Step 9: Sky plate
Colour the plate sky blue, around the slices and chopsticks.
Step 10: Yellow egg, orange carrot
Colour the egg squares yellow and the carrot rounds orange.
Step 11: Green spinach, wood chopsticks
Colour the spinach strips green and the chopsticks wood brown.
Step 12: Black seaweed, white rice
Go over your lines. Colour the outside ring of each slice black. Leave the rice white.
