How to Draw a Christmas Pudding
Draw a Christmas pudding in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the pudding.
Step 1: The pudding
In the middle of your paper draw a big round hill as wide as your hand, with a flat bottom.
Tip A Christmas pudding is a round steamed cake.
Step 2: Custard on top
Start on the left edge of the hill, halfway up. Draw a drippy line across to the right edge.
Tip Make the drips different lengths.
Step 3: Holly leaves
On top draw 2 long pointed holly leaves lying out left and right, with 3 prickles along each edge.
Step 4: Leaf veins
Draw a line down the middle of each leaf, from the stem end almost to the tip.
Step 5: Berries
Between the leaves draw 3 little round berries in a short row, the middle one a touch higher.
Step 6: Raisins
On the pudding below the custard draw 5 tiny ovals, spread out and tilted different ways.
Step 7: A plate
Under the pudding draw a long flat oval for a plate, and a second oval inside it for the rim.
Step 8: The table
Draw a table line under the plate from well left to well right, just touching its bottom.
Step 9: Cream custard
Go over your lines, then colour the custard cream, from the top of the hill down to the drips.
Step 10: Sky plate
Colour the plate sky blue.
Step 11: Red berries, green leaves
Colour the berries red and the holly leaves green.
Step 12: Brown pudding
Colour the pudding brown below the custard, and the raisins brown too. Your Christmas pudding is done!

Your finished drawing
Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: a Christmas pudding, drawn by you.
