How to Draw a Kawaii Cucumber
Draw a kawaii cucumber in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: tall body.
Step 1: Tall body
Draw a tall rounded shape standing up, like a fat sausage. Make it a little wider at the bottom.
Tip Keep it on the left, so there is room for a slice.
Step 2: Stem end
On the very top draw a short stubby stem with a round end.
Tip The stem is where the cucumber grew from the plant.
Step 3: Shiny eyes
In the middle draw 2 oval eyes. Colour them black, leaving a big and a small white shine.
Tip Big eyes set wide apart look cute.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Between the eyes draw a small U smile. Draw a small oval cheek under each eye.
Step 5: Six bumps
On each side edge draw 3 small bumps. Keep them away from the face.
Tip Each bump starts and stops on the edge.
Step 6: Six stripes
Near the top draw 3 thin pointed stripes. Draw 3 more near the bottom. Make each middle stripe longest.
Tip Keep the stripes away from the face.
Step 7: Cut slice
Beside the cucumber draw a big circle for a cut slice. Draw a smaller circle inside it.
Tip The slice stands on the same ground as the cucumber.
Step 8: Six seeds
Inside the slice draw 6 small pointed seeds in a ring, all pointing to the middle.
Tip Leave a gap between the seeds.
Step 9: The ground
Under the cucumber and the slice draw a straight ground line.
Step 10: Pink and cream
Colour the 2 cheeks pink. Colour the 6 seeds cream.
Step 11: Light green
Colour the 6 stripes light green. Colour the middle of the slice light green, around the seeds.
Step 12: Dark green
Colour the cucumber, its bumps, the stem and the rim of the slice dark green, around the face and stripes.
