How to Draw a Keychain
Draw a keychain in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the ring.
Step 1: The ring
High in the middle of your paper draw a circle with a slightly smaller circle inside, like a bracelet.
Step 2: The tag
A little way under the ring draw a bigger circle for the tag. Draw a smaller circle inside it.
Step 3: Two eyes
Draw 2 egg eyes side by side on the tag. Add a black dot in each with a shine.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a U smile. Add a small oval cheek beside each end.
Step 5: The link
Between the ring and the tag draw a small upright oval that joins them.
Step 6: The left key
Draw a key head and hole on the ring's left side, starting and stopping on the ring. Add a shaft.
Tip The ring passes in front of the head, right through the hole.
Step 7: The right key
Draw the same key head and hole on the right side, starting and stopping on the ring, with a shaft.
Step 8: Key teeth
Near each shaft's end, draw 2 square teeth out, away from the tag. Start and stop on the shaft.
Step 9: Sparkles
Add 3 sparkles in the air around the keychain.
Step 10: Yellow keys
Go over your lines. Colour both keys and the little link yellow, leaving the holes white.
Step 11: Sky blue tag
Colour the cheeks pink, then the tag sky blue around them, leaving the eyes white.
Step 12: Grey ring
Colour the ring grey all the way round, and your keychain is ready to jingle!

Your finished drawing
Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: a keychain, drawn by you.
