How to Draw a Kawaii Pineapple
Draw a kawaii pineapple in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: chubby body.
Step 1: Chubby body
Draw a big chubby pineapple body, like a fat barrel with a round bottom.
Tip Leave lots of room above it for the crown.
Step 2: Shiny eyes
In the middle of the body draw 2 oval eyes. Colour them black, but leave 2 white shines in each.
Tip Put the eyes wide apart.
Step 3: Tiny smile
Between the eyes, a little lower, draw a tiny U smile.
Step 4: Middle spike
Start on top of the body. Draw a tall pointed leaf straight up and back down to the body.
Step 5: Side spikes
On each side of the tall leaf draw a pointed leaf leaning out. Start and stop on the body.
Step 6: Back spikes
In each gap draw a pointed tip peeking out from behind. Add 1 low leaf on each side.
Tip That makes 7 spikes in the crown.
Step 7: Slanting lines
Above the eyes and below the smile draw slanting lines down to the right. Keep off the face.
Step 8: Criss-cross
Now draw lines slanting the other way, so they cross the first lines and make diamonds.
Tip Each line starts and stops on a line or on the edge.
Step 9: Ground line
Under the pineapple draw a flat ground line, from the left to the right.
Step 10: Rosy cheeks
Below each eye, a little to the side, colour a small pink oval.
Step 11: Yellow body
Colour the body yellow, around the pink cheeks.
Step 12: Green crown
Colour the 3 front leaves light green and the 4 back leaves dark green. Your kawaii pineapple is done!
