How to Draw a Kawaii Hamster
Draw a kawaii hamster in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: chubby body.
Step 1: Chubby body
Draw a big round body like a dumpling: narrow on top, with fat cheeks in the middle.
Tip Make it fill most of your paper.
Step 2: Small round ears
On top, draw a small round ear each side. Draw a smaller round shape inside each.
Tip Small ears set wide apart look like a hamster.
Step 3: Sparkly eyes
Above the cheeks, draw 2 big ovals. Colour them black, leaving 2 white shines in each.
Step 4: Nose and mouth
Between the eyes, a little lower, draw a tiny oval nose. Under it, draw 2 little smile curves.
Tip Keep them tiny so the cheeks look big.
Step 5: Tiny arms
Below the mouth, draw 2 tiny arms reaching in from the sides. Leave a gap between them.
Step 6: Sunflower seed
In the gap, draw a seed with a point on top. Add 2 lines down it.
Tip The arms hide the sides of the seed.
Step 7: Tummy patch
Start beside the seed. Draw a big round tummy patch down and around. Stop at the other side.
Step 8: Feet and ground
At the bottom, draw 2 tiny round feet. Draw a long ground line under them.
Step 9: Cream tummy
Colour the tummy patch cream, around the arms and the seed.
Step 10: Pink cheeks
Colour a pink oval on each cheek. Colour the nose, the ear insides and the feet pink.
Step 11: Ginger fur
Colour the body, ears and arms ginger, around the cream and pink parts. Colour the seed grey.
