How to Draw a Kawaii Chihuahua
Draw a kawaii Chihuahua in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: huge head.
Step 1: Huge head
Draw a big wide head like a squashed ball. Make the cheeks full and the top a soft dome.
Tip Leave lots of room above for the giant ears.
Step 2: Giant ears
On each top corner of the head draw a giant ear leaning out. Draw a smaller ear shape inside it.
Tip Make each ear almost as tall as the head. Big ears say chihuahua.
Step 3: Big sparkly eyes
In the middle of the head draw 2 big ovals. Colour them black, leaving 2 white shines in each.
Tip Put the big shine at the top right of both eyes.
Step 4: Snout and smile
Low between the eyes draw a small oval snout. Add a black nose on top and a w smile.
Tip Keep the snout small. Small features on a big head look cute.
Step 5: Tiny body
Start under the head. Draw a small bell body down to a flat bottom, and back up.
Tip Keep the body narrower than the head.
Step 6: Front legs
From under the chin draw 2 legs, thinner near the round paws. Add 2 toe lines on each paw.
Step 7: Back paws
At each bottom corner of the body draw a little paw peeking out. Add 1 toe line on each.
Step 8: Curved tail
Start low on the right of the body. Draw a thin tail curving up to a round tip.
Step 9: Ground line
Draw a long ground line under the paws, so your puppy has somewhere to sit.
Step 10: Pink and cream
Colour the ear middles pink and add a pink oval on each cheek. Colour the snout cream.
Step 11: Colour it tan
Colour the fur tan, around the pink and cream parts. Your kawaii chihuahua is done!
