How to Draw a Doe with Fawn
Draw a doe with fawn in 14 easy steps, about 11 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: mum's egg head.
Step 1: Mum's egg head
Near the top, left of the middle, draw a big egg head, a little wider at the top.
Tip Leave room below it on the left for the fawn.
Step 2: Big leaf ears
On each top corner of the head draw a big leaf ear pointing up and out, a smaller leaf inside.
Tip The left ear is a little smaller.
Step 3: Mum's big eyes
On the middle of the head, a little to the left, draw 2 big oval eyes with black dots.
Tip Leave a tiny white shine in each eye.
Step 4: Snout and smile
Under the left eye draw an oval snout poking past the head. Add a black nose and a w smile.
Tip Rub out the head line inside the snout.
Step 5: Neck and back
Rule the ground. Start below the right ear, draw a long neck and back, and stop round her bottom.
Tip The neck slopes down, then the back runs almost flat.
Step 6: Mum's legs
From her chin draw the chest, a front leg, the tummy and a back leg up to her bottom.
Tip Each leg gets thinner on the way down and ends in a hoof.
Step 7: Far legs and tail
Under the tummy draw 2 more slim legs. Add a line across each hoof and a leaf tail.
Tip All 4 hooves stand on the ground line.
Step 8: Fawn's head
Low on the left draw a smaller egg head for the fawn. Give it 2 leaf ears.
Tip The fawn's ears stay below mum's snout.
Step 9: Fawn's face
Give the fawn 2 big eyes with black dots, a small oval snout, a black nose and a smile.
Tip Leave a tiny white shine in each eye.
Step 10: Fawn's body
From the fawn's head draw a short back, a back leg, the tummy and a front leg.
Tip A fawn has a short body and long thin legs.
Step 11: Thin legs and tail
Under its tummy draw 2 more thin legs. Add a line across each hoof and a little leaf tail.
Tip All 4 little hooves stand on the ground line.
Step 12: Fawn's spots
On the fawn's back draw 5 small ovals for its spots.
Tip Keep every spot inside the body.
Step 13: Cream and peach
Colour both snouts and both tails cream. Colour the inside of all 4 ears peach.
Step 14: Ginger and grey
Colour the doe and the fawn ginger, around the cream and peach. Colour all 8 hooves dark grey.
Tip Leave the eyes and the spots white.
