How to Draw a Karate Kid
Draw a karate kid in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: egg head.
Step 1: Egg head
Near the top of your paper, draw an egg for the head, a little narrower at the chin.
Tip Leave most of the page below for the body and legs.
Step 2: The face
Below the middle, draw 2 big round eyes with black dots and white shines. Add a nose and smile.
Step 3: Hair and headband
Start on the left of the head. Draw hair tufts over the top, ending on the right. Add a headband.
Step 4: Karate top
Draw 2 neck lines. From the left one, draw a wide-sleeved top, ending at the right. Add a V collar.
Step 5: Punching arm
From the left sleeve, draw the arm out to the wrist, getting narrower. Add a round fist and thumb.
Step 6: Arm on the hip
From the right sleeve, draw the arm bending out to an elbow and back to a fist by the hip.
Step 7: Black belt
Start on the left side. Draw 2 belt lines across to the right. Add a knot and 2 tails.
Step 8: Wide trousers
From the bottom of the top, draw 2 baggy legs spread wide, getting narrower down to the ankles.
Step 9: Feet and floor
Under each leg, draw a foot with its toes pointing out. Add a floor line under both feet.
Step 10: Pink cheeks, peach skin
Colour 2 pink cheeks, then the face, neck, arms, fists and feet peach around them. Leave the eyes white.
Step 11: Red headband, brown hair
Colour the headband and its tails red, and the hair brown.
Step 12: Black belt, white suit
Go over your lines. Colour the belt, knot and tails black. Leave the suit white, and you are done!
