How to Draw a Kangaroo Face
Draw a kangaroo face in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: long face.
Step 1: Long face
Draw the head: a rounded top, wide cheeks, then narrowing down a long snout to a round tip low down.
Tip Wide at the eyes, narrow at the nose, like a long upside-down teardrop.
Step 2: Two tall ears
Start on each top corner. Draw a tall leaf ear up and out to a tip, back to the head.
Tip The ears lean back and out like a wide V.
Step 3: Two big eyes
Level with the wide cheeks, draw 2 big round eyes one eye apart. Add black dots and shines.
Step 4: Snout and big nose
Under the eyes, draw a rainbow across the snout, side to side. Add a wide nose at its tip.
Step 5: Little smile
Just under the nose, draw a big happy U smile, leaving space above the chin.
Step 6: Inside the ears
Inside each ear, draw a smaller leaf shape, starting and ending on the head line, for the pale inner ear.
Step 7: Tuft on top
On top of the head between the ears, draw 3 little fur bumps. Rub out the head line under them.
Step 8: Rosy cheeks
Draw a little oval blush on each cheek, below and outside the eye, and colour it pink.
Step 9: Cream snout, pink ears
Go over your lines. Colour the snout cream, not the nose, and the inside of each ear pink.
Step 10: Tan fur, black nose
Colour the fur tan around the pink and cream, leaving the eyes white. Colour the nose black around its shine.
