How to Draw Judo
Draw judo in 13 steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: two heads.
Step 1: Two heads
Draw 2 egg heads side by side, one left of the middle and one right, about a hand apart.
Tip The 2 kids face each other: same size, same height. Leave room below.
Step 2: Faces
On each head draw 2 big round eyes with a shine. Add a tiny U nose and a smile.
Step 3: Hair
On each head, start on the left. Draw round tufts over the top, stop on the right. Add a hairline.
Step 4: Neck and judo jackets
Under each chin draw 2 neck lines. From the left one draw a round-shouldered jacket back to the right one.
Tip Draw 2 slanting lapel lines crossing on the chest, like a wrap-around robe.
Step 5: Belts
On each jacket draw a belt: 2 lines from the left across to the right. Add a knot with tails.
Step 6: Long sleeves
From each shoulder draw a long sleeve, bending at the elbow. One hangs down, one reaches to the other kid.
Tip The 2 reaching sleeves never touch. One goes high to a shoulder, one goes low to the jacket.
Step 7: Hands
Draw a round hand on each hanging wrist, and a round fist on each reaching wrist, gripping the other kid.
Step 8: Trousers and feet
Under each belt draw wide trousers from its left end down and back up to its right end. Add feet.
Tip Bare feet point out, with a short curve for toes.
Step 9: Mat
Draw one long line across under all 4 feet for the judo mat, from edge to edge.
Step 10: Peach faces, pink cheeks
Colour the faces and necks peach, with a pink circle on each cheek. Leave the eyes and jackets white.
Step 11: Peach hands and feet
Colour all 4 hands and all 4 bare feet peach. Leave the sleeves and trousers white.
Step 12: Brown hair, blue belt
Colour the right kid's hair brown and the left kid's belt blue.
Step 13: Black hair and belt
Colour the left kid's hair and the right kid's belt black. Go over your lines and your judo is done.
