How to Draw a Beekeeper
Draw a beekeeper in 13 steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
Near the top of your paper, in the middle, draw an egg head, a little narrower at the chin.
Tip Leave most of the page below for the body and legs.
Step 2: The face
In the middle of the head draw 2 big round eyes with a shine. Add a tiny nose and smile.
Step 3: Brimmed hat
Draw a long oval brim across the head. Start on the brim left and draw a crown, ending right.
Step 4: Neck and bee suit
Start under the chin with 2 neck lines. Draw a suit down to a hem below the hips.
Step 5: Veil
Start at each end of the brim. Draw a veil line down to the shoulder. Join them under the chin.
Step 6: Long sleeves
Start at the left sleeve and bend an arm across the tummy, ending at the wrist. Hang the right arm.
Step 7: Hands
On the left wrist draw a fist with a thumb on top. On the right draw a round hanging hand.
Step 8: Honeycomb frame
In the left fist draw a tall box frame with a second box inside. Fill it with little hexagons.
Step 9: Bees
On the right draw 3 bees: an oval with 2 stripes, 2 teardrop wings on top and a dot eye.
Step 10: Trousers and boots
Start at the left end of the suit hem. Draw 2 trouser legs, ending at the right end. Add boots.
Step 11: Peach skin, pink cheeks
Colour the face and neck peach, with a pink circle on each cheek. Leave the eyes and suit white.
Step 12: Yellow hat, gloves, comb
Colour the straw hat, the gloves, the honeycomb and the bees yellow.
Step 13: Brown frame and boots
Colour the frame light brown around the honeycomb, and the boots brown. Your beekeeper is done!
Tip Keep the eyes white.

Your finished drawing
Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: a beekeeper, drawn by you.
