How to Draw a Jewelry Box

12 steps · Medium · about 9 min

Draw a jewelry box in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the box.

Print

  1. Step 1: The box

In the lower middle of your paper, draw a wide box, a little wider than it is tall.

  2. Step 2: The open lid

Above the box, draw the open lid leaning back: up from the left corner, across, down to the right corner.

  3. Step 3: Two big eyes

On the front of the box, draw 2 big egg eyes close together. Put a black dot in each.

  4. Step 4: Smile and cheeks

Under the eyes, draw a U smile from eye to eye, and a small oval cheek beside each end.

  5. Step 5: The lid mirror

Inside the lid, draw a smaller box, leaving a frame all round, for the little mirror.

  6. Step 6: A pearl necklace

Along the top of the box, draw a row of little circles dipping down in the middle like a smile.

Tip Start with the middle pearl, then add pearls up each side.

  7. Step 7: A sparkly ring

Over the middle of the top edge, draw a ring, a circle in a circle, with a diamond on top.

  8. Step 8: A little heart

On the middle of the lid's top edge, draw a little heart.

  9. Step 9: Sparkles and table

Add 4 sparkles in the air around the box, and a long table line along its bottom, out both sides.

  10. Step 10: Sky mirror, gold ring

Go over your lines, then colour the mirror and diamond light blue, and the ring yellow like gold.

  11. Step 11: Cream pearls, pink box

Colour the pearls cream. Colour the box and lid pink around the mirror, pearls, ring, eyes and cheeks.

  12. Step 12: Red heart and cheeks

Colour the heart and the cheeks red. Leave the eyes white. Your jewellery box is done!
