How to Draw a Jamaica Flag
Draw a jamaica flag in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the flag pole.
Step 1: The flag pole
On the left draw a tall thin pole from near the bottom to near the top. Add a ball.
Step 2: The waving flag
Start on the pole below the ball. Wave the top edge far out to the right, come down, wave back.
Tip This flag is long: twice as wide as it is tall.
Step 3: Top triangle
Start on the top edge near the left corner. Draw a wide V down to the middle and back up.
Tip Stop the point of the V a little above the middle of the flag.
Step 4: Bottom triangle
Start on the bottom edge near the left corner. Draw the same wide V upside down, pointing up.
Step 5: Left triangle
Start on the pole a little below the top corner. Draw a sideways V pointing to the middle.
Tip Keep its lines side by side with the lines you drew, so the bands stay even.
Step 6: Right triangle
Draw the same sideways V on the right edge, pointing back to the middle. Now you have a wide X.
Step 7: Ground line
Draw a long flat ground line under the pole, from the left side to the right side.
Step 8: Yellow ball, grey pole
Colour the ball on top of the pole yellow and the pole grey.
Step 9: Yellow X
Colour the wide X yellow, from corner to corner.
Step 10: Green triangles
Colour the top triangle and the bottom triangle green.
Step 11: Black triangles
Colour the 2 side triangles black. Go over your lines. Your Jamaica flag is waving!
