How to Draw Jam
Draw jam in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the lid.
Step 1: The lid
Near the top draw a flat lid: a wide box with soft top corners, as wide as your hand.
Step 2: The glass jar
From the lid's bottom left draw the jar: over a shoulder, down, round the bottom, and up to the lid.
Step 3: A cloth frill
Under the lid draw a row of little bumps from the left edge of the jar to the right.
Step 4: The jam
A little under the frill draw a wavy line across the jar from side to side for the jam.
Step 5: A label
On the front of the jar draw a square label with soft corners, as wide as 3 fingers.
Step 6: A strawberry
On the label draw a little strawberry: a fat heart, 3 pointy leaves on top and 5 tiny dark seeds.
Step 7: A shine
Inside the left edge of the jar draw a long skinny oval for a shine.
Step 8: The table
Draw a long table line under the jar, from far left to far right.
Step 9: Another strawberry
On the table to the right, draw a bigger strawberry lying on its side, with leaves and seeds.
Step 10: Red jam
Go over your lines, then colour the jam red below the wavy line. Leave the label, shine and glass white.
Step 11: Blue lid and frill
Colour the lid blue and the frilly cloth blue.
Step 12: Red berries, green leaves
Colour the leaves green and both strawberries red around the seeds. Your jam is done!
