How to Draw an Infinity Sign
Draw an infinity sign in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: left loop.
Step 1: Left loop
Start low on the right. Draw a 2-line band through the middle, round a left loop and back to it.
Tip Keep the 2 edges the same distance apart all the way.
Step 2: Right loop
From the other side of the band, carry it round a big right loop and stop back at the start.
Tip In the middle the band slips under, so its lines stop at the first band.
Step 3: Two big eyes
Inside the left hole, draw 2 egg eyes, not touching its edge. Add a black dot with a white shine.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes, draw a small U smile. Add a tiny flat oval cheek on each side of it.
Step 5: A shine
Inside the top of the right loop, draw 1 short curved line along the band, not touching its edges.
Step 6: Three sparkles
In the space round the ribbon, draw 3 little sparkles: 2 up top and 1 down at the right.
Step 7: A shadow
Under the ribbon, draw a long thin flat oval for its shadow, with the loops sitting on it.
Step 8: Sparkles and cheeks
Go over your lines. Colour the sparkles yellow and the cheeks pink.
Step 9: Grey shadow
Colour the shadow grey.
Step 10: Purple ribbon
Colour the whole ribbon purple, and your infinity sign is done!
Tip Leave the holes and the eyes white.
