How to Draw an Ice Lolly
Draw an ice lolly in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the lolly.
Step 1: The lolly
In the middle of your paper draw a tall lolly: wide at the bottom, narrowing to a soft point.
Tip Like a rocket: wide at the bottom, pointed at the top.
Step 2: Two bands
Draw 2 gentle smiles across the lolly from side to side, to split it into 3 stripes.
Step 3: The stick
From under the bottom draw 2 lines straight down, a finger apart. Join them with a round end.
Step 4: A drip
From low on the right side draw a drip round the corner, down to a bead, back to the bottom.
Tip Rub out the corner line inside the drip.
Step 5: A drop
Under the drip draw a small teardrop falling, point up. Leave a little gap.
Step 6: A shine
Inside the left side of the top stripe draw a long thin oval sliver for a shine.
Step 7: Cold sparkles
Either side of the lolly draw 2 short lines in the air, to show how cold it is.
Step 8: Yellow stripe
Colour the bottom stripe, the drip and the falling drop yellow.
Step 9: Orange stripe
Colour the middle stripe orange.
Step 10: Red top
Colour the top stripe red, leaving the shine white.
Step 11: Wood stick
Colour the stick wood brown. Go over your lines and your ice lolly is done!
